Tacos Mi Tierra: Authentic Mexican Tacos in Harrisburg, PA

Start with the food. I always appreciate mom & pop places. The food was outstanding, authentic, and flavorful. The order taker was very pleasant, and patient (since we took a few minutes to order) waitress just as equally nice. The place was a minimum level of cleanliness. The atmosphere was ok. It is located in a desolate area of Harrisburg, but there was no drama and no issues of parking. My rims were not taken. Lol. Prices were fantastic, in my opinion. 4 tacos (of different meats) I favored the Mexican sausage!!. My lady friend had the qeusadilla. 2 sodas as well. $21.

These tacos are your “second best tacos I ever ate” level. Had pollo and carne asada with a side of beans and rice. The meat was tasty, tender, and had lightly crispy edges. Corn tortillas were bliss. Soft and airy with the complimentary corn flavor, a satisfying chew and, most importantly, no tearing. I was disappointed by a lack of salsa bar but full respect to the selection of hot sauce at each table. El Yucateca Verde on the table is class every time. The other 3 are also always a good sign imo. But when they brought my tacos it came with a bottle of house salsa verde!! The reason all the drinks are single serving containers is because people would use straws to drink the salsa. It’s tomatillo without being too acidic and with a mild bite of heat. It compliments whatever you use from the table perfectly. I blended all 3 of my tacos with different combos and they all popped with depth. It’s upper division taco shopping stuff!! The plate garnish is class. The rice was perfect in the ways you’d hope. The beans were just okay tbh. Creamy though!! Future me will be diving into the baked goods and deserts which looked TEMPTING. I’ll be making excuses to venture into the heart of one of my least favorite cities to drive in to further explore the menu. Parking is not for the squeamish. Bring your skills.

Food was great tasty and perfect cooked, ,customer service was nice and great, , the place is perfect and great clean and good experience i will definitely go back and tray more food they have parking spots was a little hard to find but not crazy , . highly recommend to go try the tasty tacos

Best tacos in town. Rice is also phenomenal!Reasonable prices and great service. You would miss this place if you weren’t looking for it. They also have Mexican Cokes in glass bottles that have real sugar. Don’t let the area deter you from stopping by and grabbing a quick bite. They don’t have a parking lot but the street parking is free

Its really hard to get tacos from here being in a wheelchair. But they are really sweet people, and very accommodating. I love their food. With some crystal hot sauce! Hit everytime. I got mad respect glad their in the neighborhood .

Awesome hole-in-the-wall restaurant with delicious tacos. Very affordable too — $2.25 per taco. Tasty, fresh salsas too. Fairly quick service despite being busy. Well worth visiting.
